On a personal note i’m very proud to have Paul Bowring alongside me in the New York show. We set up Danse Macabre art, an arts group exploring a less snobby and more engaging passion for art and all kinds of creatives. - Matthew Vickerstaff Here is a bit about Paul - Artwork often perceived as hauntingly romantic, figurative yet  imaginative, with recurring motifs of arches, doorways light and  darkness. Mainly paints in acrylics and illustrates with pens, but any  medium that comes to hand will do, including snow! We will have 3 digital enhanced mixed media paintings on show this week. “I am always trying to play the interpreter, and often I find my art reflects my own sarcastically ambivalent feelings concerning one subject or another.  I feel a great sense of satisfaction when a piece is far enough along that I can begin adding the finishing touches. There is a profound beauty in darkness and nature which I try to bring into my art.
