On a personal note i’m very proud to have Paul Bowring alongside me in the New York show. We set up Danse Macabre art, an arts group exploring a less snobby and more engaging passion for art and all kinds of creatives. - Matthew Vickerstaff

Here is a bit about Paul - Artwork often perceived as hauntingly romantic, figurative yet imaginative, with recurring motifs of arches, doorways light and darkness. Mainly paints in acrylics and illustrates with pens, but any medium that comes to hand will do, including snow! Has had artwork included in 2 Necronoclast albums. Was co-founder of Danse Macabre in Jan 2007 with Matt [Darkwave Art] Vickerstaff and Charlotte Thomson-Morley - 2 inspirational creative geniuses!

Also did a bit of invigilating and tech-ing at the Crocus Gallery in Lenton Aug 2010 to Aug 2011. Currently in seclusion, somewhere in Nottingham, brewing more creative weirdness to unleash upon the World.

Vancouver based dark Artist Kalynn Kallweit, specializing in Creepy Art, Dolls, and Digital Art. We will have 3 digital enhanced mixed media paintings on show this week.

“I am always trying to play the interpreter, and often I find my art
reflects my own sarcastically ambivalent feelings concerning one
subject or another. I feel a great sense of satisfaction when a piece
is far enough along that I can begin adding the finishing touches.
There is a profound beauty in darkness and nature which I try to bring
into my art. I believe everything looks a little more intriguing when
there are details, danger, and mystery involved.”

Sin-Eater lives deep in the heart of Herefordshire’s countryside. Here his fascination of animal forms grew & gave birth to his passions for the collecting of taxidermy & theory of evolution. A cynic of photoshop all of his artwork is created by hand. His desire is for Sin-eater to belong among the Albrecht Durer’s. Detached from the contemporary Sin-eaters work is a call into the echoing chasms of the past.
